Christmas Drinks

What an active start to the season it has been.

The Balance Army has been competing in all the major events this year, and the BALANCE name has been reverberating over the PA systems at these events.

To celebrate a great start to the season and to wish all members a happy Christmas & holiday season we will be holding a Bay Run with Christmas Drinks at Haberfield UTS Rowers afterwards on Thursday 18th of December.

Run starts at 6:30pm and the group will run as fast as the slowest runner, so be prepared for a chat.
We hope to see you there.

Cheers from the Balance Committee

Hi Knights, just a brief reminder that the Concord Tri Club Aquathon is on this Wednesday  29/10/08 at 6.30pm at the Drummoyne Pool. This is a fun event, and you are guaranted to have a blast. Please call me if you ned any further info on 0430 195 289.

Train safely! Power

Man, what a weekend! Yes, the gang was out including a few who need to dust out those cobwebs after not racing for a while! It was so good to be back in Forster…The last time we were there would have been for the Australian Ironman in 2005, those were the days!!!

Well, I am sure that the report will be in the Club Newsletter…so I won’t harp on too much! Get this date in your calendar for next year as it is a fun course that you can get away with only a little training on. We had junior representation in the 7 - 11 year old category…our Club Thunder Stick aka Holly was out there shaking that thing - both Lee and I were thrilled…but hell of a nervous!

I would just like to thank Aunty K for all her hard efforts in pulling the Club together, and all her co-ordination to get us all there. Alas, the park just might not be the same now…especially after the workout the push-up bench got!!

Train safely, and get racing now! Power…
